The extension does not collect or transmit the text it analyses. All document analysis takes place in the browser. The only value retained by the extension is the local enabled-or-disabled setting described below.
It reads the text of AI-generated responses displayed on supported pages, analyses it locally to identify statements without a chain of provenance and displays the result beside the response.
The analysis is based on linguistic patterns. It does not require an internet connection or query any external service.
The extension stores one local Boolean preference indicating whether it is enabled. It does not collect:

The extension does not request network permissions — the host_permissions field is empty — and it does not use tabs, webRequest, cookies, history or any permission that would allow access to user data.
None. There are no analytics, telemetry, advertising or tracking services.
The maurogiorgi.com link in the interface is an ordinary hyperlink and is followed only if the user chooses to click it.
If the extension panel loads Google Fonts, the browser makes a normal technical request that may include an IP address and browser information. No document text or extension activity is included in that request. The analysis engine itself does not require an internet connection.
The code is public and inspectable. Anyone can verify this notice by reading the extension’s three components: the analysis engine, the page integration and the panel.
Any changes will be published with the extension update. If it ever collects any data in future, that will be stated here explicitly before collection begins.
